2010 Crios Rosé of Malbec

In the glass: This wine had an interesting pale red color that looked a bit like a watermelon gatorade. On the nose there was an abundance of alcohol followed shortly by strong scents of wild strawberrys. This was a very smooth, easy drinking wine brimming with flavors of sweet strawberry and young cherry. The finish was smooth, dry and satisfying. This is a delicious well balanced wine, but I hoped for a fresher, crisper and more interesting rose rose. (like the ones I tried at a winery in Maipú). If you are a rosé afficionado, or see it on sale I would say give it a try.

Conclusion: A solid rosé that lacks the zaz that makes me buy a wine twice.
